Team Work

Our staff are the soul of our company, and are absolutely essential to our success. Every person working within our company is an essential member of our team, with individual skills, qualifications, experience and character. We have an ongoing commitment to the professional development, personal safety and wellbeing of our staff.

I have been with the company since December 2008.

My main role with the company is – Technical sales of our wide range of Plastics Machinery, including Engel injection moulding machinery. I previously worked as Accounts assistant and customer service, among many other various roles – located in the Auckland Head office.

I was born in Durban, South Africa in 1986.

My family immigrated New Zealand when I was 8 years of age. I now consider myself a Kiwi.

My interests include:  Aviation, Shooting, Cars and Computer gaming.

I originally started with Techspan in 1994 and left briefly in 1998 only to return later that same year.

My role with Techspan is as the company service manager.

I am 44 years old and have 4 daughters ranging in age from 7 to 18 years old.

I’m a keen motorcyclist and my current pride and joy is a Ducati 848 superbike.

My interests include family life, motorcycles and motorcycle racing, music, travelling, good food and red wine, running and general fitness, DIY

I started with the company in March 2021 as a Technical Service Engineer.

I finish my BSc and MSc in Mechanical Engineering overseas and studied Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering Level 7 in New Zealand.

I had work experience for several years as Mechanical Design Engineering and Electrical Service Technician. These skills help me to carry out maintenance, testing, commissioning for ENGEL machines and other Techspan supplied products.

I was born in Amman, Jordan in 1992 and have lived in New Zeeland for the last two years .

My interests include travelling, hiking, karate, swimming, music and social gathering.

I’ve been with Techspan Group since time began !

I studied architectural draughting, electrical engineering, and business management.
I previously worked as an architectural draughtsman, insurance underwriter, and broker.

Lived in Perth, Western Australia for a few years, now based in Auckland, New Zealand. Very happily married to Maria. We have 2 adult children and 4 grandchildren !

I‘m absolutely passionate about our business, dedicated to the success of Techspan Group – to be the leading supplier of our 5 core products. A firm believer in the power of positive thinking, and very proud of our winning team, who work exceptionally hard to give very high quality service to our customers !

My interests include DIY, aviation, boating, good food, wine, and travel.

I have been with the company since 1992. I am the financial director and purchasing manager for Techspan Group and sales manager for Techspan Industrial Printing Systems Limited (TIPS).

I am married to Bernadette and we have three children: Dominica 23, Rebeka 18 and Isaac 15.

In my spare time I can be found working outside on my lifestyle block which is located in the out backs of Henderson Valley.

On the farm, we run sheep, horses, goats and chickens and we share the farm with many domestic pets as well.

I’ve been with the company since 1989.

I am responsible for technical sales of a variety of Techspan products, and I also take care of the group’s marketing.

I began with Techspan in technical service, building good product knowledge.

I lived in Brisbane for a number of years during set up of the Brisbane office. Now spending a fair chunk of my time in Auckland. The Covid-19 situation saw to that.

I previously worked for a division of Techspan‘s Furniture manufacturing company in the late 80’s.

Music was my first love, starting with the high school band. I worked professionally on the night club circuit in the mid 80’s for a number of years. An early interest in electronics proved invaluable in my position today.

I later developed a passion for aviation, after flying with my brother Dave. This developed into an obsession in skydiving. I did my first jump back in ’95, won a few national titles and can today boast having completed well over a thousand jumps.

Interests – family life, music, motorcycling, classic cars, skydiving, and living life to the full.

I have been married to Jon Fastnedge for 25 years. We have three children ages 15, 19 and 24 years old.

We live on a lifestyle block in the foothills of the Waitakeres, which we share with our children and various animals.

I worked for many years as a legal PA and I now work a couple of days a week at Techspan. The other days of the week I enjoy working on my photography business.

I joined the Techspan team in June 2019. I am responsible for technical sales of a number of the companies products. I am proud to be associated with the company, as I am a third generation member of the team which was founded by my Grandfather Frank Fastnedge.

My interests include building and driving my drift car, hanging with good friends and listening to alot of music.

I Joined the Techspan family in November 2023.

My role is Sales & Purchasing.

I am responsible for selling a variety of Techspan products and also purchasing them from our trusted European suppliers.
I have worked in and around sales for the majority of my career. After studying Psychology for 3 years at the University of Waikato. You could say I can read people very well ;)

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with friends and family. Listening to music, I also love my sports. Being at the beach gives me a refreshing therapeutic reset. Admire travelling just need to do it more.

Joined the Techspan team in March 2016.

I was born and raised in Fiji and am of Gujirati and Rotuman descent.

Immigrated to NZ in 2010. My work experience covers a broad range of administrative duties, including – finance, data analysis, and IT.

My role with the company is Accounts Manager.
